As a mediamatician you produce information in all electronic and classical media and prepare it tailored to the customer. Your tool is the computer: you use various programmes to edit images, sound recordings and videos or to prepare text layouts. You design and maintain websites, create advertising material, presentations and printed matter. Alongside your special skills in multimedia and design, you also have skills in marketing, IT and administration. You are acquainted with customer and market needs and actively involved in sales promotions or in public relations. When projects with new media are being planned or new media installed and used, you are on board. With your wide range of knowledge in communication technology, you form an interface between technical specialists and users of all media.
